The challenge
Legacy backend services had become difficult to maintain and extend. A complex Node.js codebase slowed feature delivery, increased maintenance effort, and lacked the performance and scalability needed to support a new user experience and future telecom services.
- Complex legacy backend services
- Slow feature development and high maintenance effort
- Insufficient performance and scalability
- Need for standardized enterprise APIs
- Requirement for multi-tenant capabilities and production readiness
Our approach
TEKNIKOZ designed and delivered a Java and Spring Boot microservices architecture with standardized REST APIs across six telecom modules. The solution introduced Oracle database support, HikariCP connection pooling, Redis caching, dynamic datasource routing for multi-tenancy, automated testing, containerized deployment, and CI/CD readiness.
- Migrated backend services from Node.js to Spring Boot
- Designed standardized REST APIs for six telecom modules
- Implemented dynamic datasource routing for multi-tenancy
- Improved database efficiency through connection pooling and caching
- Established comprehensive unit testing and API documentation
- Prepared containerized, production-ready deployment workflows
