The challenge
A motorsport engineering organization needed to move a large volume of engineering and CAD data from a legacy PLM environment to PTC Windchill. Complex product structures, assemblies, bills of materials, documents, and revision histories had to remain accurate and connected within an aggressive delivery schedule.
- High-volume engineering and CAD data
- Complex assemblies and product structures
- Critical BOM relationships and revision histories
- Strict data-integrity and traceability requirements
- Aggressive timelines with minimal business disruption
Our approach
TEKNIKOZ supported the end-to-end migration of engineering data into PTC Windchill. The approach combined configured bulk-migration jobs, SQL-based validation, CAD-to-part association checks, product-structure reconciliation, issue resolution, and validation through system integration testing, user acceptance testing, production readiness, and go-live.
- Configured and executed Windchill bulk-migration jobs
- Automated object and relationship validation with SQL
- Verified CAD-to-part associations and product structures
- Preserved version history and BOM relationships
- Supported system integration and user acceptance testing
- Provided production validation through go-live
